About
Seventy years of bottling in San Pedro Sula
Embotelladora de Sula started in 1956 in San Pedro Sula, Honduras's industrial capital. Today it makes water, sodas, fruit drinks and nectar under its own brands, and those brands now travel north.
Our story
From one bottling line to five brands of our own
A group of San Pedro Sula investors founded the company in December 1956, and its first bottles reached the market in 1959. Decades of new lines followed: PET, cans, a dedicated water line and a gallon line.
Along the way Emsula built its own brands: Aguazul water, Quanty fruit drinks, Link sodas, Enjoy Néctar and Zen. They are the brands Honduran families buy every day, and the ones this site offers for export.
